EURMUSE
Among the marbles and columns of the Park of the Museum of Roman Civilization, the only EUR space managed by the Municipality of Rome, the director Massimiliano Terzo invents, organizes and produces the "EURMUSE" seasons for "Roman Summer", which have taken off since 1989 until 1993. Massimiliano Terzo built a horseshoe-shaped stage within the large space of the Museum of Roman Civilization, with a capacity of 6,000 seats, this structure was particularly suitable for different types of highly cultural events, it was the largest amphitheater of Italy, suitable for opera, prose, dance, music in general, all
this was organized by the director Massimiliano Terzo, at the age of forty, former teacher at the State Institute for Cinematography and Television. The most prestigious national and international dance, prose and opera companies performed on the EURMUSE stage, guests of the festival were Renato Greco, Massimo Moricone, Vittorio Biagi and Patrizia Salvatori. The Italian company "classical dance" participated with the show "Between the classic and the modern" with the choreographies made by Pino Alosa, Mauro Mosconi and Tucio Rigano. Other guests were also present including Claudia Venditti with "Dance image", Giacomo Molinari with the Repertoire ensemble and finally the "Airone Company" with the show curated by Milena Zullo. The conductor Maurizio Rinaldi and the actress Franca Valeri, passionate about opera, also collaborated in the "EURMUSE" events. Rinaldi conducted the orchestra in the following operas: "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" music by Gioachino Rossini and "Rigoletto" music by Giuseppe Verdi, directed by Franca Valeri. Massimiliano Terzo has given internationality to his "EURMUSE" by making international agreements with the Japan, Moldova, France, Poland and Russia. In the "EURMUSE" event various Operas are organized including: "Madame Butterfly", "La bohème", "Tosca" music by Giacomo Puccini, "La Traviata" music by Giuseppe Verdi, "The Strauss family", "Viennese Blood" an Opera in three acts based on a text by Leon and Stein and music by Johann Strauss performed by the Zielona Gora Philharmonic Orchestra, the most prestigious company in Europe composed of 78 artists and 14 technicians, "La Contessa Mariza" Opera by Emmerich Kálmán , "The African suite", "Spring" and "The street party" music by Michael Urbaniak. Massimiliano Terzo during the "EURMUSE" event, he produces and directs the operas: Molière's "The Sick Imaginary", Luigi Pirandello's "Six characters in search of an author", "The Innkeeper " and "A Curious Accident" by Carlo Goldoni , "Cesare and Cleopatra" by George Bernard Shaw , William Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew", achieving critical acclaim with approximately 8,000 tickets sold.
